Each course in this programme is worth 20 credits (except for BIT701 - IT Project).
To achieve this qualification you need to complete 360 credits, made up of 120 credits at each level (Levels 5, 6 and 7).
You need to complete the compulsory Level 5 courses before you can enrol in the Level 6 then Level 7 courses.
We recommend you study the Level 5 courses in the following order:
- BIT503 Fundamentals of Information Technology
- BIT502 Fundamentals of Programming
- BIT501 Business Concepts and Communication (this course includes a compulsory element of group activity in one assessment)
- BIT504 Programming I
- BIT505 Introduction to Software Development
- BIT507 Fundamentals of Systems Analysis and Design*
* If you have already successfully completed BIT506 Mathematics for IT, you will not need to enrol into BIT507 Fundamentals of Systems Analysis and Design.
