Fees free terms and conditions

You can study our Certificate of Achievement in New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 1) fees free:

• if you are a domestic student (within the meaning of the Education Act 1989) living in New Zealand
• if you meet the entry criteria listed in the Entry requirements tab.

You must enrol before any 'effective end date'. Notification of this will be put on this website.

What fees free covers

This fee free offer only applies to the programme’s enrolment fee.

It does not include provision of textbooks or any other fees that you may incur by taking this course. You will need to cover any additional costs.

Who is not eligible for fees free

You are not eligible for fees free study for this programme if you are:

• an international student
• are a student enrolling in the course under ITO, STAR, Gateway or SUTI
• a student currently in receipt of or applying for a scholarship, reward or any other special offers from Open Polytechnic.
