This online real estate course enables you to manage trust accounts, internal controls and risk.

It also provides you with knowledge of the human resource and sales/marketing functions, and the Resource Management Act 1991 as applied to real estate.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Manage a trust account in line with legislative requirements.
  • Evaluate internal controls, and methods for improving revenue and performance within a real estate branch.
  • Apply risk management practices within a real estate context.
  • Manage the human resources function, including recruitment, development of a sustainable team culture, disciplinary and dismissal procedures for a real estate branch.
  • Conduct market research, develop a marketing strategy and resources to sell a property or business, and evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy.
  • Explain the key principles of the Resource Management Act 1991, the role of stakeholders, and communicate to a client or customer regarding an activity for a property or business.
