The purpose of this course is to prepare you to be able to understand how medicines work and affect body systems.
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to
- Discuss the anatomy and physiology of the gastrointestinal, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, immune, integumentary and musculo-skeletal systems
- Discuss disorders of the gastrointestinal, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, immune, integumentary and musculo-skeletal systems, and medicines used in their treatment, including malignant diseases.
- Apply knowledge of human physiology and medicines used in the treatment of disorders of gastrointestinal, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, immune, integumentary and musculo-skeletal systems
