The purpose of this online course is to prepare you to be able to work ethically and professionally within all legislation, codes and standards. It also introduces you to managing dispensary stock and inventory.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to

  • Demonstrate the ability to correctly follow legislation, professional codes and standards relevant to pharmacy technicians.
  • Apply appropriate storage requirements to maintain a safe environment for the dispensary.
  • Process stock orders correctly and undertake dispensary inventory control.
  • Perform calculations accurately during the dispensing process.
