The purpose of this online course is to enable you to develop an understanding of computing principles and their use in engineering practice.

Learners who successfully complete this online course will be able to:
- Solve engineering problems using an engineering maths and analysis package.
- Develop a program to a specification by devising, coding and testing an algorithm to solve a specified problem.
- Use software packages, including spreadsheets, and/or discipline specific software to produce engineering solutions.
Assessment
Assessment for this course is:
- 60% internally assessed
- 40% examination.
