The purpose of this online course is to provide you with a foundation in the basics of computing.

This course will guide you through the process of setting yourself up for study including preparing your devices, managing your files, and using a word processing application.

This course also develops the study and planning skills that you will need as you progress in this programme of study. 

Learners who successfully complete this online course will be able to

  • Prepare digital devices for online learning
  • Use a word processing application to create and present information in a study context
  • Apply file management techniques to manage files in a study context
  • Create a learning plan which includes strategies to support study success
