This online course will enable learners to gain knowledge of advanced support for complex needs and apply person-centred care to support those with common complex needs in a health or wellbeing setting.

Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Describe the impact that common complex needs have on a person’s quality of life in a health or wellbeing setting.
  • Provide person-centred support to a person with complex needs under the delegation of a health professional in a health or wellbeing setting.
  • Provide collaborative support to the family/whanau of those with complex needs as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a health or wellbeing setting.
