This online course will enable learners to gain knowledge of the complexities of advanced person-centred dementia care and palliative and end of life support in a health or well being setting.

Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Describe the different types of dementia characteristics of people living with this condition and their care and support needs in a health or wellbeing setting.
- Describe the key principles for providing palliative and end of life care and their support needs in a health or wellbeing setting.
- Explain the ethical issues for dementia care and provision of support using a palliative care approach in a health or wellbeing setting.
