This online course provides you with the opportunity to explore the impact a specific impairment, condition, or change in circumstances (such as moving to residential care) has on the people you work with.
Students who successfully complete this online course will be able to
- Demonstrate knowledge of specific conditions and their impacts when providing person-centred health care in a health care setting
- Observe and respond to changes in a person in a health care setting
- Demonstrate knowledge of advocacy and self-advocacy in a health care setting
- Support a person to achieve goals in a personal plan.
