This online leadership course focuses on developing the skills, knowledge and abilities required to be an effective lead practitioner supporting colleagues and adult learners to use educational technologies in a workplace or education setting.

This course discusses collaborative practice, the relational nature of teaching and learning and effective stakeholder engagement, including shared and personal review and evaluation processes.  Mentoring and coaching strategies using educational technologies are also examined and practised. By the end of the course you will be able to articulate an emerging teaching philosophy for leadership in facilitating adult learning using educational technologies.

What you will learn

When you  successfully complete this online course you will be able to:

  • Discuss the nature of inclusive, ethical and professional relationships for collaborating with diverse stakeholders to incorporate educational technologies in practice.
  • Critically examine coaching and mentoring theories and approaches for leadership using educational technologies.
  • Apply coaching or mentoring approaches to enhance the learning of other practitioners.
  • Critically analyse and use evaluation data to enhance leadership practice using educational technologies.
  • Develop and justify an emerging teaching philosophy using educational technologies drawing on theory and practice.
