Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Compare a selection of testing methodologies
  • Design a variety of tests including unit and system tests, usability testing, and user acceptance tests, incorporating a range of testing techniques
  • Perform testing on a range of platforms that involves multiple devices and environments
  • Execute tests using manual and automated software testing, and document results
  • Demonstrate debugging processes, which includes debugging utilities, managing bug reports and issue tracking
  • Implement performance and standards compliance testing
