This online course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to analyse requirements, and to design and document software solutions for a range of problems in an organisational context.

Students who successfully complete this online course will be able to

  • Apply appropriate business process modelling tools to analyse and document business processes

  • Employ basic software project planning techniques employing software estimation and metrics

  • Demonstrate user experience (UX) design principles and processes

  • Demonstrate the application of agile and structured systems development methodologies

  • Create accurate, and clear, technical and user documentation
