This course will provide you with the necessary skills to analyse a business from an information systems perspective.

It covers tools and techniques to:

identify and define business problems
elicit and document user requirements
model the user requirements accurately

Agile methods and Object Oriented modelling will also be introduced.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

Select the appropriate techniques for problem definition and information systems analysis
Define business problems or opportunities
Elicit and document information system requirements
Construct accurate analysis models reflecting system and user requirements
