This course will provide you with the necessary skills to analyse a business from an information systems perspective.

 It covers tools and techniques to:

  • identify and define business problems
  • elicit and document user requirements
  • model the user requirements accurately

Agile methods and Object Oriented modelling will also be introduced.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Select the appropriate techniques for problem definition and information systems analysis
  • Define business problems or opportunities
  • Elicit and document information system requirements
  • Construct accurate analysis models reflecting system and user requirements
