You will develop an understanding of the ways that digital media can be used to enhance documents and the considerations that must be given to copyright and acknowledging the work of others. You will apply the computing skills you have developed and also create a presentation.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Use digital skills to produce basic digital media in a study context
  • Select suitable digital media from appropriate sources for use in online study
  • Use a presentation application to present information in a study context

Computer and internet requirements

To complete this course you will need access to a laptop or desktop computer. The ICT courses cannot be completed by Chromebook, tablet, or phone. While you can read the content and watch videos, there are technical requirements throughout each course that you will need a laptop or desktop PC to do.

You will also need access to reliable broadband internet connection and a data plan able to support online learning such as streaming of videos (including YouTube), downloading content, and writing and submitting online assessments.
