This online course will enable learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies to apply business finance techniques.

Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Discuss the role of the finance and treasury functions and the financial environment in which organisations operate.
  • Apply capital budgeting techniques to evaluate investment decisions in an organisational context.
  • Evaluate sources of finance and associated risk in organisational contexts.
  • Evaluate measures of return and distribution options in organisational contexts. 

Assessment

  • 50% internally assessed
  • 50% examination.
